The winner is determined by their confidence and poise, ability to describe the auction item and ability to control the bidding. You don’t need to have any prior auction experience or hold a real estate qualification and you do not need to be an REINSW member – anyone can take part!

In order to be eligible to compete, you must:

• Be over 16 years of age
  
• Live in NSW
  
• Have completed six property auctions or less in the past 12 months, and no more than eight in your career prior to competing
• Have less than six months experience as a livestock or chattel auctioneer prior to competing
  
• Be able to source an item valued at more than $100
